WHB: Christmas Habits

By Tobias Zimpel | Dec 24, 2007

It’s Weekly Habits again, and I’m still wondering what went wrong. If I had to sum it up in one word, I would probably end up with “Everything!” :-( Until wednesday, everything went quite smooth (at least if I didn’t take a look at my paper inbox), but then I utterly failed:

  • I didn’t blog anymore.
  • My e-mails are piling up again.
  • My Hot Spots aren’t burning yet, but there’s already some smoke.
  • There hasn’t been any christmas cleaning.

At least I was able to finish one point on my last week’s list: Yaro and I finally found a way to circumvent PayPal’s oddities and managed to get me into the Blog Mastermind Course. So from now on one of my main focusses is to get into blogging regularly to provide you with some (or some more…) superior articles on living your dream life.

As it’s christmas week, and considering last week’s experience, I’m going to make the next week relaxing and reflective.

So here’s my goals for this week

Every week on monday morning, I will post my weekly goals to this blog, and also put up some consequences if I don’t reach my goal.

This week I will commit to the following habits on a daily basis:

In addition, I’m going to finish the following tasks until sunday evening:

  • I’m reviewing the last year and making a plan for 2008 to make this the most successful year I’ve ever lived!
  • I’m working through the first lesson of the Blog Mastermind Course and listen to all the great audio stuff that comes as bonuses.

If I don’t manage to follow through on this plan, I’m going to clean the living room floor on New Year’s Eve. We threw out the carpet some time ago, but there is still some of the glue remaining on the floor that needs to be washed away.

What new Habit(s) will you start today?

Write about your plan in the comments, and maybe put up consequences or promise yourself with a reward. Stick your plan somewhere where you will see it often, and follow through with it. This way, you will collect some successes that will make you feel good.

But don’t over-stretch yourself, and don’t try to turn your whole life around on a single day. It probably won’t work.

So have a nice christmas, everybody!
