For me this bog acts as an outlet for my dreams and visions as well as a source of motivation - to me as well as hopefully to my readers.
I am on a path now - a path of personal development that is very challenging to me. Chasing the moon and reaching for the stars is a very nice way to spend your time, but doing it only for myself isn’t enough for me to go for it no matter what. What gives me the power and the energy to leave the gravity of my old habits and beliefs is the possibility to share my experiences with others, maybe going part of the way together, and being able to help others on the way.
Right now I have not nearly reached the top of the mountain. I’m in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in a swamp, and it’s pitch dark all around me - except for lots of swirling light trying to make me follow them deeper into the swamp.
But right now, as I’m writing this post, I’m illuminating a light of my own, weak and nearly invisible by now, but eventually it will be bright enough for me to find a path outside of this swamp and start heading for the mountain that represents my dreams.
Everyone has such a mountain, and you have a compass that’s always pointing in the direction of that mountain. But it doesn’t work inside of swamps; there it points to the little lights that represent the goals other people want you to follow.
So let’s get out of this swamp and then head for that mountain! Let’s stop chasing little lights and start being a light of our own, so bright that we are able to illuminate the light in other people around us and inspire them to follow their dreams, too.
Over the next few days I’m going to write about what my plans are for this site, about the way I’ve already gone and the next steps I’m going to take.
